This is the collage I made for the front of the "World Family of John Denver Singers". The background in the collage was a photo taken by Alan Gilda and John's photo was a Sensor Capture. Permission was obtained from Hal Thau to use the capture in the collage...
The printing on the back of the shirt was by Rik "Griz" Burgoyne.

Thought I'd share my story of a JD Moment on my recent trip to Litchfield Beach....
My first night at the beach was Saturday, Oct 12th....we were eating dinner in the restaurant and what should I hear from the bar below but "Country Roads"...the entertainer for the evening was singing and all that were gathered were singing along and hooten & a hollerlin'...then a couple songs later he sang Back Home Again....the tears did come...
Later sitting out on the balcony I heard him ask for requests and I phoned down to the bar and asked for him to sing another JD song and to let him know it was the 5th annivarsary of John's death.....about 2 songs later .. he announced to the crowd that he was singing a song for John in the memory of the annivarsary of his death...and sang Country Roads again...and this time the audience sang so loud he stopped and let them sing alone.....
MY, did that do my heart good.....I couldn't be in Aspen or Pacific Grove this year...but there in South Carolina I still was able to find comfort in John's song....
