For Linda...WELL DONE!!
I couldn't stand it if my favourite place
to visit wasn't available anymore. It's the BEST place to talk to John
and all who love and miss him as much as I do.
Peace and Love!

Thanks,
Linda, for getting one of my favorite places to visit with John back up
and running smoothly. I think of him daily and feel his presence in his
music. He had a good heart, and love of life and nature. I miss you John.

My
son just put some of your great songs on my computer so I can hear your
beautiful voice everyday. You are missed and thought of each and every
day. Rest peacefully knowing so many of us love and miss you. It is
my hope that my son, who resently left us, is there with you.

Thanks for being patient, John ... I think we've fixed the problem now
and can get back to leaving our messages and lighting your candles in
Peace! I hope this place means as much to you as it does to myself and
your fans, cause I sure worked my butt off getting it fixed!!! I can
hear that chuckle now, John ... Guess it's funny now, but it sure wasn't
funny when I was fighting it!

Can you imagine the beautiful songs John would have written if he were
still alive. We need him so much during these bad times. I miss him more
everyday. I think he is the only one who would have understood me. His
music describes my thoughts perfectly.

I have been fighting a problem on this site for several days with unwanted
and very distasteful advertisments. You must now enter a code to post
here ... unfortunate, but necessary ... we do not want this sort of thing
appearing on John's site! I am sorry for the inconvenience to John's
fans who visit here. Please e-mail any comments on this subject to the
e-mail address posted.

I apologize to the person with the last entry ... I mistakenly deleted
their Post when I didn't mean to!!
I'm having trouble with some distasteful
Advertising Post being made on this site and am having to delete these
post daily. I have contacted the guestbook owner to see if we can find
a way to avoid this problem. Please bear with me ... and, again, I apologize
for any Post which are accidently deleted...

John,
There's only 99 days to go before I live in Colorado. I
know I will make it because I've put all my effort into becoming a professor
for the last nine years. I've had no life, yet! But I will very soon,
and I hope to see you in the eagles and the hawks I will meet. I don't
know how I came to love you and your music so much to change my whole
life, but I did. I am only here now to make the world a better place for
all of us; I know you did that also, but I am not another John Denver,
I am only a Debbie.
I am going to teach at Colorado State University
bring enivronmental ethics to all that I meet. I sign for my apartment
in Fort Collins within the next month.
I'm not the only one in love
with your music, as you know. My Bob also loves (and has for the last
20 years) your music more than ever. We'll make a home there in the Rockies,
and I hope we do so much good. I still am trying to write about mountains
and streams and wildlife while I call them MY brothers and sisters, too.
Please, help me to get people believing in a new land ethic; one that
opens their hearts and heads to the fact that without the animal's habitats,
we would not know the world. We would also become extinct because of the
web of life. No, I can't touch people like you did, but that will not
stop me from trying to do it my way: write to them in a way they understand
and try to make them care.
John, I trust you will be with me on the
2000 mile journey from sea level to 6,000 feet in the air.
I
will always love you, John, and I light a green candle for the earth,
a blue for the "big sky" country, a red for the blood the animals lose
when hunted, and a pink for the smiles when people truly "get it."
Unitl
John, only until.

in love instantly with John's music. I bought a cassette Best of John
Denver-Live that time and for the last 10 years I am listening to those
18 songs, everytime finding new beautiful things in the songs. The effect
of those songs has been tremendous. Thank You John for you personify what
is good and what is great about this world.

Been
thinking about John a lot today. My plans to visit one of John's favorite
places--Little Mulchatna---are well underway. I can't believe that I
will really get to go there. According to Jeff, who owns the place now,
John visited there 26 times in his life.

I grew up watching John Denver....I happen to catch the PBS special that
showed his sanctuary and thought it was the most beautiful thing I had
ever seen......It so beautifuly reflects his spirit and his gift of reaching
into the souls of people and uniting them with songs of the heart. ..He
was a beautiful person and his spirit will live in his songs forever......Linda

What a simple but beautiful John Denver site this is.
Like others,
I spend a minute or two here most days and read the latest messages or
perhaps leave a message for others to read.
I cannot remember the
last day I did not find time to play some JD music.
Deeply missed
but forever remembered.

was a part of my life since the 70's, and I am so happy to have passed

I visit this homepage over and over again to rest for a moment in silence
and remember John.
Even though I learned to know his music only after
he passed away, homepages like this one let me gather information about
him.
His music makes me happy every time I play it or listen to it,
that's why I light a red candle.

His music is like nectar to the soul. After he phased out from his country
beginnings, he began to write the most beautiful songs about life, love,
lost love, the world and the environment. He experienced the highs and
lows in his life, just as we all do, because fame and fortune didn't shield
him from sadness. He wrote a beautiful song for his father, and he wrote
the music for the beautiful poem "The Higher We Fly". He wrote a beautiful
song "Flying For Me", for the Challenger crew and the astronauts. His
music is so important and you have to listen to it with your heart, so
that you'll maybe slightly begin to know the person and the "message"
tho the message may be different for each person.

place on the web in memory and honor of him.

I thought of John on 31 December & prayed that his spirit is soaring free.
He gave so much of himself to people & to Mother Earth, and has been the
catalyst to many good people helping the children, the sick, animals &
birds, and Mother Earth itself, and his songs are forever topical and
spoke straight from the heart whether about love, life, or the environment.
I never knew or even saw him live but he is in my heart and my prayers.
