For world peace,for love,for wildlife,for the words
John spoke of and the songs he sang and to all the
undersea life these are the things he so much had a
commpassion for and wanted so much for the world.
So today I will light 2 candles. One will be a green
one for the trees and the forest and the strong love
he had for Mother Earth. The second one will be for
his other two things he held dear to his heart and
it will be for the under sea world where he found
peace and tranquillity. The other will be for his
wings for he could fly high as an eagle and to let
his spirits soar high above the big blue skies.
So these are the things I will be lighting the
candles for. I think these are the things he would
want us to remember him for. Sure I am going to miss
him. To see his sweet smile or to here his laughter.
Yes I will still shead tears when I hear his heart
filled music because his music taught us to live
It gave us hope. It even helped with the loneliness
and the pain we have all felt in our lives.Yes my heart is sad that John Denver is gone but my vison
is he will come back as an eagle. So if you ever see
one or you can see them now remember it could be him.
You are in my heart John Denver and for I may never
see an eagle but I can see your sweet smile hear your
gentle voice and listen to your uplifting music as
long as I've got the internet.
God be with you John. You are with your eagles.
Love You,
Susan

October is approaching us, and I remember it well, John, I think of you daily. I listen to your music, I watch your movies, I read the many tributes that so many people have dedicated to you. You have been such an influence on my life. I miss you my friend. I hope that you knew all of the love and admiration and respect that we felt, and still feel for you. Fly with the eagles John, fly high and fast and free, for we are still here John, we will never forget you, you will always be a part of our hearts, our souls and always in our thoughts. We love you John

"September eleventh,two thousand and one,
That infamous day when the world came undone.
My eyes were all-seeing.I wish they'd been blind
To the death and destruction rained down on mankind."

Remembering the victims of 9/11,and praying that such a heinous act of violence will not occur again.
Let Peace be the way.
Cynthia.

Dear John:
Just received this poem and had to think of your beautiful song "Healing Time On Earth" and how much we are missing you.

"It takes time to heal.
Build a bridge
from now to tomorrow
Sink the piers
deep into the Earth.
Poor in concrete
day by day,
a little at a time,
and let it set.
It takes time to heal.

It may feel awkward,
as if you're making empty promises,
as if you're simply spanning empty space.

But someday, somehow, somewhere,
you'll find yourself
upon a brand new shore,
glancing back at the bridge
which you alone have built.
It takes time to heal"

Poem by Ted Hibbard.

Few people come into our lives and make the whole world seem bright, but you're one of those rare and splendid jewels. When I was sad, you made me smile. When I was alone and sad you were there for me, and you made me feel strong enough to take on the whole world. Because I appreciate the many things you've done for me, I'm sending you the Candles of Love & peace.
